I enjoyed reading this sci-fi book. I loved the characters and the storyline. Jenna will do what it takes for her parents to have a better life and I admire her for that. Hollie Hutchins is a wonderful author and I look forward to reading more of her books!!!

I am voluntarily writing a review for a ARC I recieved and thought this paranormal scifI was a page turner that made me want to now what happened next. Jenna was a strong female character who wanted to do right by her family. Darin is the empyrian king who needs a bride to rule.

In post apocalyptic Earth Jenna and her parents are survivors who have not ist their humanity. Jennifer her parents so much she makes a decision to help them by auditioning herself to give the money to them. Read to learn the specifics of how she changed her life, the king's, and those who became her friends. Than writing draws vivid pictures and characters.

A great read. You get a different insight with this book, about aliens and how they are similar/different to humans. It was an easy read with some steam. Jenna wants to help her parents financially and being sold into slavery is the only way she knows will work. The dramatic aspects of this book are tantalizing and entertaining. It did not end the way I was expecting, but that is how things go sometimes.
